About

  • Alice Black is co-founder of ALICE BLACK (est. 2017), known for its cross-disciplinary programme and support for emerging practices. She serves on the Development Committee of the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), London; mentors at the Sarabande Foundation; and lectures at both Goldsmiths, University of London, and Sotheby’s Institute. In 2020, she was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for Art & Culture.

  • Tatiana Cheneviere , founder of Pipeline (est. 2022), brings nearly a decade of experience from Gagosian, where she developed expertise in global art markets. Her innovative two-room exhibition format—introducing each show with a preview work from the next artist—has been praised for cultivating slow, meaningful engagement. She is a champion of cross-regional collaboration, working with artists and institutions beyond the capital.

Black+Cheneviere (B+C) is a new-generation, London based art advisory firm, co-founded by Alice Black and Tatiana Cheneviere. Born from a desire to foster a new era of patronage and cultivate a more active and intentional role for collectors within the art ecosystem, B+C offers a bold alternative to conventional art consulting. Committed to igniting more personal, meaningful, and enduring connections between collectors & patrons and contemporary art, B+C invites individuals and corporations to work with us on either or both of the following two pillars. This is an invitation to engage more deeply - with art, with artists, and with the ideas shaping our world.

Pillar 1: Patronage and Cultural Engagement

B+C creates bespoke pathways for patronage across the art ecosystem, within the UK. We help to align your interests and budget with meaningful opportunities for tangible impact; supporting artists, emerging galleries, institutions and arts education.

Pillar 2: Art Collection Building

B+C empowers collectors to cultivate singular art collections that reflect personal values and vision, uniting market insight with long-term cultural capital. The consultancy offers creative and strategic guidance across both primary and secondary markets, placing emphasis on direct relationships with artists and an in-depth understanding of the broader cultural landscape.
